If your TV/Screen deinterlaces properly you've no need to spend the extra on the A30. Just get the A3 and have your TV do the "Progression".

I went to Best Buy to pick up an A3. They flat-out refused to sell it to me with two HD DVDs of my choice because the A3 comes packaged with 300 and Bourne Identity, saying that my two free DVDs were those two.

I went through a manager and the manager's manager and both refused. I said, "So, what you're telling me is that despite what your in-store advertising and your online advertising says, you're not going to honor that?" His response: "Yeah, pretty much."
