I got a call form Gamestop that it'll be in today. I've been anxiously awaiting this game for a LONG time, so I'm really looking forward to jumping in to it tonight. Who else is picking this up?

I might even believe that. I haven't ben able to play it myself yet, but the vids are so awesome looking. I'm a SP guy myself and only dabble on occasion with Live. I've played through the campaigns of CoD 1 and 2 so many times it's not even funny. I'm siked to see how they do the Modern Combat setting.

I heard the single player campaign is only 5 hours long, which if true is super lame.

that makes me a saaaaad panda:bawling:

8hours on hard mode which is still pretty short
and hard mode is often annoying sometimes when you have to repeathings a million times

I might have to get this for PC so i Can milk the multi element out of it I hope it runs well...
i didnt wanna get a new video card till next summer :banghead::banghead:

I may pick it up, IGN did give it a 9.4, videos of it look great, I'm still waiting to see how well Haze ranks in comparison to it.

Well, it might end up being 5 hours, but it'll be as good as 5 gaming hours can get. Amazing graphics and an atmosphere unlike hardly any game I've seen. The actions insane too and it's running at a super sweet framerate. Other than a couple levels that drove me nuts, it's been incredible. I'm stuck at the moment which is the only reason I stopped playing. I'll be replaying this game for a long time.

Just finished the campaign. It's true..the sp is really short. BUT....it's one of the craziest sp experiences you can have while it lasts. I was on the edge of my seat through the whole thing. It's incredible. Infinity Ward has just schooled the entire development community with this game. There's a million things going on, it's absolutely gorgeous and the frame rate is locked at 60 fps. AND it can display at 1080p. Talk about impressive. IW has just proven that there's a lot that can be done on these consoles. I'll be jumping back into this war again today. You have to play it more than once to see what's going on anyways. I love this game!

Now...to wait for Mass Effect.

Yep. PS3, 360 and PC. I have the 360 version, but I've read that the PS3 version is just as sweet. Some multiplatform games haven't performed as well on the PS3, but that's not the case here. I chose 360 version because I prefer the controller for fps games and I prefer Live to PSN. But these games are suppose to be nbearly identical, so either one is a good choice.

Of course, high end PC is the best option, but not everyone will have that.

I'm non-biased. I have both systems, and XBOX live IS the best online network hands down....and more games....but there are some titles on the PS3 that are just mindblowing...
