We're going to be creating a new T-shirt for club members and for sale at shows. My idea is to use some of the terminology that is used specifically in this venue, as graphic elements on back of the shirt. Picture this:

The following words/terms in different fonts/type faces printed askew to one another covering the back (or front) of the shirt:

(as examples)

- Gold-Chrome
- a** clown
- Bucky Bashing
- Brothers of the Hammer
- etc.etc.

A. Do you like this idea?

B. what additional words should be used in the concept.

C. Should the all individuals forum handle be incorporated?

In addition the shirt would have the BD logo on the front left chest.

I don't know that I am real crazy about the idea of putting the sayings on the back. Everybody has their own favorites and it will be impossible to agree on one (or even two). What about taking the poll idea even further. After a set amount of time for everyone to decide about the slogan, take the top 4 - 6 and make the back of the shirt look like a poll on the forum?

We need several shirts. Having a different version or color would be great for SDCC. That way the competistion doesn't think we spend all our money on Bowen, that we can't afford a clean shirt for each day of the show. ;)

In addition to T-Shirts, I'm going to push for my card idea. :thumbs2: :eplus2:

Card sets could be sold along with T-Shirts on the website and at shows, besides being inexpensive "Member" gifts.

Cards will sell more than shirts from the website, because there's many card collectors like me out there. Some are Marvel completists like me, some are promo completists, some will buy it because it's Bowen.

Noticed the the GG Chewbacca COA is nearly perfect card size, but I'm not saying Bowen should start COA's, or putting cards in the boxes. I just think a card set for each Phase would be nice, and may draw more card collectors into the bust/statue hobby. The Logan statue drew in a friend of mind that's a Marvel card completist. She's now a club member.

How about 2 cards. On the front would be the BD logo w/ one saying "Statue Collector" and one saying "Bust Collector." The backs could have checklists for the statues and busts. This would do 4 things:

1) It would provide new members with a list of the pieces that have been released

2) It would make the unchecked cards collector's items

3) It would allow people to compare collections while at conventions

4) When you get really drunk at a convention, the card becomes a badge and gives you the right to beat up dishonest/scam booth operators and shut down their booths. :eplus2:

We need several shirts. Having a different version or color would be great for SDCC. That way the competistion doesn't think we spend all our money on Bowen, that we can't afford a clean shirt for each day of the show. ;)

In addition to T-Shirts, I'm going to push for my card idea. :thumbs2: :eplus2:

Card sets could be sold along with T-Shirts on the website and at shows, besides being inexpensive "Member" gifts.

Cards will sell more than shirts from the website, because there's many card collectors like me out there. Some are Marvel completists like me, some are promo completists, some will buy it because it's Bowen.

Noticed the the GG Chewbacca COA is nearly perfect card size, but I'm not saying Bowen should start COA's, or putting cards in the boxes. I just think a card set for each Phase would be nice, and may draw more card collectors into the bust/statue hobby. The Logan statue drew in a friend of mind that's a Marvel card completist. She's now a club member.
