What do you guys think of painting kits in a single color?

I've never built a kit in my life (but very soon!) but I've been wrestling with the idea of just priming the kit and leaving it as is.

1. Most of the primed kit pictures that I see seem to bring out the quality of the sculpt already.

2. For a lack of a better reason, I've never painted in my life and probably suck at it. Plus, since it's already primed, if I ever want to attempt it - another step skipped?

3. Grey-colored kits look like prototypes (to me, anyway). :buttrock:

If anything, I think this might be a good alternative for me since I really like the look of a primed statue.

Any opinions?

I brought Arahom's Master Originals for his Wolverine and I will leave them as is without paint.

I think they look cool this way :thumbs2:

I actually prefer the gray as well. Unless of course I can get a paint up from a master such as Saul, Danno, or Joe. But that's not so easy to come by so I tend to just leave them gray.

do whatever floats your boat ... prime it up and see how it looks ... and if you decide you want paint - you are ready to sling some paint on it
