What were the albums you remember playing the most? To be specific, this doesn't necessarily mean your top ten favorite albums. It's the ones you've played to death.

While these albums may not get listened to as much today, these were mainstays on my turntable for years... As expected, most of these come from my late teen and early 20 years.

AC DC - Highway To Hell
AC DC - Back in Black

I remember having this Disney album which featured a song or two from the 50s and 60s movies. I loved it as a kid...

Hah. For me it was the McDonald's Menu Song record.

I remember we tried to see who could get the furthest in the song.

These 6 are albums my parents owned. I listened to them endlessly starting as far back as I can recall and still own them on CD today:

Paul McCartney - Band on the Run
Paul McCartney - RAM
The Eagles - Their Greatest Hits: 1971 - 1975
Elton John - Goodbye Yellow Brick Road
Neil Young - Harvest
Carole King - Tapestry

And 4 others I can add from my own collection:

AC/DC - Back in Black
The Police - Ghost in the Machine
Led Zeppelin - IV
Pink Floyd - The Wall

Great choices, everyone. I almost put AC/DC on my list, too (Back in Black), and I totally forgot Meatloaf's Bat Out of Hell, which should definitely be in my top ten.

Honestly, so should Billy Joel's Best of , Simon and Garfunkel's Best of, the American Graffiti soundtrack, and Huey Lewis and the News Sports. I played the hell out of all four of those albums in junior high.
