A little help with what would be a couple "must have" games for the Nintendo DS. My son is 9, going on 10. I guess you could recommend some games that my wife and I might enjoy too.
Thanks,

The must have list for DS owners according to me is:
Zelda:Phantom Hourglass
Mario Kart DS
Super Mario 64 DS
The New Super Mario Brothers
You and the wife if not gamers, might enjoy Cooking MaMa and Brain Age.

The Castlevania DS games are awesome! Everyone should check them out. Especially if you were a fan of Symphony of the Night like I am.

WarioWare SmoothMoves is great!
I think Castlevania might be too hard though.
Elite Beat Agents is a great game
Metroid Hunters if you want games like Halo or whatever you said.

Oh yeah and Trauma Center is a cool doctor like game if you guys can stomach it. It's not incredibly bad or anything but it's a really good series.

Metroid Prime Hunters is good but the controls are rather hard to adjust to and if he's young, may have trouble with it. I would go with either Zelda, Mario 64, or New Super Mario Brothers.

It's not that hard if you buy the forgotten wrist strap that came with the original blocky DS. It comes with a thumb pad piece at the end and you use that to control the view for Samus. It's idea for that sort of game really and it's the only way I play it. Like 3 bucks straight from Nintendo. It's too hard with the stylus.
