Vote for your favorite Next Gen System that you've either owned or played. The Wii is doing might fine for itelf as is the Xbox in the public eye, but I'd like to see how statueforum members feel.

XBOX because of the price and because of XBOX LIVE. No one comes close to their online community and functionality.

suprised the Wii is doing so poorly here. Especially considering the horrible things I heard about PS3.

Xbox 360, then the Wii. I own all three (two 360s actually), but the PS3 is basically a Blu-Ray player for me. I occasionally use the media-extender portion of it, but that's pretty much it.

Gaming wise the 360 wins this hands down. The wii is good if you have kids, are a very casual gamer or you`re after something different. The PS3 still isn`t there yet gaming wise but for build quality and features it`s by far the best imo. But if in doubt buy all three :thumbs2:

Wii no question, but i'll freely admit my Nintendo bias, i've never played a Mario game i didn't love and don't think i ever will. plus the virtual console letting you download games from all those old systems...not to mention the 3 greatest words in the gaming universe Super Smash Brothers:thumbs2:

I have more fun playing the Wii games than the 360 games. I've been playing the 360 a lot more than the Wii lately though

360 has good range of games, but I prefer more stable and reliable console like PS3, plus they got their big guns comin' in 2008.

360 console is too unpredictable, like you goin to Vegas

Agreed.
As an older gamer XB360 is top. If I was younger though, or had a family, Wii would take it I think!:)

Exactly. Many 360 owners like to turn a blind eye to the hardware issues because the 360 has so many more good games out (it should, beng released earlier). I would prefer to sit back and have fewer games to choose from as long as it means I don't have to fear my system crapping out everytime I play it.

well, I have a 10 year old boy and we have a Wii and an XBOX360. It's seems the boys (including my son) around his age liked the gimmick of the wii controllers at first, but have grown tired of the games and lack of online play. Now, they just play the XBOX and hardly touch the Wii.

I'm an Xbox 360 kind of guy. Well designed GUI, comfortable controller and an excellent selection of software? There's no other horse I could back in this race.

the virtual console is a great idea but the games are so overpriced it`s not even funny, not to mention the fact I could play the games on VC plus every other game ever released for those systems right now, for free via MAME.

Wii of course, PS3 doesn't even have enought games out there, and same old cliche for 360, sports, car racing and balh blah blah, nothing new about it.

I don't own any of the new systems. I owned a PSone and I still got my PS2, which I play with from time to time, but from what I read over the last 19 months I guess I would prefer a 360.

The reason they got tired of Wii gimmicks is because you didn't get them the right games, so many games out there keep renewing the use of Wii Contorl and make it really fun to play with.

But most of them are more Japanese oriented games though.
