Hi all, quick question can i use testors with a brush i had a quick mess with an old kit and it seemed like it was taking on the colour of the paint. Cheers.

Before using Testors Dullcote with a brush, you have to be VERY sure that you seal the piece first by spraying (either through your airbrush or with a rattle can) first. Even then you could run into a problem as Lacquer is very strong and will break down or reactivate sealer and paint below.

Anyone ever hear about Model Masters Clear Gloss Enamel? Is this stuff saf e to use as a sealer on acrylics?:peoples:

You bet'cha...this is great stuff.
Now...again, you don't apply this with a brush (over eyes, mouth, etc...) until you seal the whole piece first with your sealer (Testors Dullcote, Krylon Matte, Armory Matte Sealer, etc...). You want to use a rattle can or airbrush to spray your sealer on first, then add your gloss touches at the very end with a brush. Solvent based paints can be aggressive and may tear at you paint if your don't seal it first.
