I don't remember them having giraffe necks back in the day. That's the only thing that bugs me about these, other than that they look great.

If Neca was smart though they're release color variants as well as the traditional red versions. I know originally they all had the red, but lots of people love the different colors for each characters, and consider that change over the years an improvement, and I think sales would warrant doing both. Plus it'd actually make for a worthy variant for once. Just my thoughts anyways.

i normally don't buy figures but for these i had to make an exception! i stumbled across a couple of these figures last friday in my co-worker's area. his area is packed with all kinds of action figures but somehow i noticed the ninja turtles! i love the old school look. personally i hated the tv series. give me the old Mirage comic books any day. :)

so the hunt was on but i noticed that the version with the clamshells for Raphael and Donatello were harder to find and the ones that were available cost more! luckily i found three ebay stores that carried them all for a decent price. they must have been newly posted up over the weekend because i was searching like mad trying to get a set friday night. anyway, i can't wait to get these. :D

Well I had these put aside for me at the lcs. I paid it off a little off at a time. That way it seemed less costly to me. They fit well with the rest of my toys.
