Yep. I think it was issue 1 cover to the Marvel Knights run...that dark image of Black Bolt standing there alone is awesome.

These are two of the awesome covers from that maxi-series...I am telling that is STILL my favorite run since Joey 'da Q blew into town and took the reigns at Marvel!! This series was just magical....Especially issue #2...I have told Paul Jenkins this numerous times!!!

Yeah a lot of people like that series and suggested it but eehhhhh, im not a big jae lee fan. He does a more "realistic" style and i like my comic characters to look like well, comic characters lol. And definitely when i sculpt one its gonna look like it jumped out of a comic. More and more sculptors are applying their realistic style to comic sculpture and it looks great i think, but just not my style. Randys BB looks great. Looks like a comic sculpt as it should. :P Maybe im just brainwashed from growing up on comics from the late 80's throught the mod 90's. Guys like jim lee, ron lim, mcfarlane and the like lol.

Oh believe me, I like some of the newer guys...Joe Madureira(I mean I can spell his name w/o looking it up :laugh: ) being my favorite(hence the forum name), I like McFarlane's pencils, but I actually think I like Capullo better than him on Spawn renditions! I like Jim Lee but sometimes I think his torsos are a bit large on his human characters, I mean that is fine on an alien because what do we know about alien anatomy....But generally I love Lee's work I mean I read a Superman title just because he was drawing it :laugh: ....And Ed McGuiness what can I say His rendition of ol' Wade is THE definitive Deadpool!!, except you know Benard Chang drew an EXCELLENT Deadpool!!

Yeah i dont like jim lees earlier stuff much anymore but this heroes reborn stuff he did just amazes me. I mean, they even have ankles!! Lees and Brett Booths art in FF v2 is phenomenal. Booths Firelord in issue #9 floors me every time i look at it....wich is a lot lol. And issues 10, 11, and 12 have Booth AND Ron Lim!! But its like an updated Lim, and its just....just....ohh man. And my favorite DP is the brooks or zircher ones from the new Cable & Deadpool series. Amazing stuff. Also love the Agent X series art. I could go on all day about those series so i better cut it off here lol. So everybody get Fantastic Four v2 and Cable and Deadpool!!

Did you see Benard Chang's Deadpool and Daredevil and Typhoid Mary? He drew a Deadpool annual...I really missed this guy, but he was not a full fledge comic artist, I think he did stuff for other kinds of fields....Don't get me started on Brett Booth, that guy is freakin' great...His Spiderman/Backlash crossover was gorgeous to look at!! I also think his pencils were more dominant in that FF V.2 than Lee's...that is why they look phenominal(Lee Roughs, Booth finishes) And choi on inks good team up there...Here is the cover...you should find this book at your LCS! The second shot is McGuiness!

Yeah man i have that DP DD annual. That scene where he singing while about to pop that dude thru his scoped rifle...LOL!! Classic DP. ...gasp-ping for BREEEAAAATH! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Got almost every dp title i believe. Working on getting every appearance. And the DP and death annual wheres hes tormenting that dude The Attending after he learns his name is Francis...oh god some of that stuff is hilarious. And theres babies first deadpool lol. ohhh man i love everything hes in really. Wait....wasnt this about Black Bolt???
