Anybody able to play Marvel vs Capcom 2 on their Xbox360?

So I just picked up Marvel vs. Capcom 2 (old X-box game) from an EB about 40 mins from me. I've been going nuts looking for this game and I paid a heavy price for it, too. Game cost me $75.00. Anyway, I got home, loaded it in the Xbox and was shocked to discover horrific visual displays!!! The characters are all fractured looking and the game feels really glitchy. Has anybody else run into this issue or able to offer advice to resolve the problem?

I had some problem with older games on my 360 some games just don't work

It looks like it it backward compatible, at least accoriding to the list on the Xbox site -

might be the disc, I've been playing halo 1 and 2 on mine and it's perfect

I was looking on the Xbox site, myself, and discovered there is a backward compatability issue with Marvel vs. Capcom.

According to Microsoft:

There is some severe artifacting on character sprites.

It may not seem like it's the end of the world, but during gameplay, it becomes overwhelmingly noticable. Noticable to the point where I just need to turn off the game out of sheer frustration. Arg...I might just return it and get my money back. :thumbsdow

That blows. I read that this game should play fine, since it's compatible, but that looks like crap! I have this game too, but I don't own a 360 yet because every store seems to be sold out of the elite and I don't want to use my cc.

I got it for 360 and it's true that there are graphic glitches but the game still plays fine.
