Never have been able to get into this series. The stiff controls, brutal trial and error gameplay and just plain suckiness has been a turnoff.

This is also coming to the 360 BTW ;)

Yes but Legend and after the controls and everything have been fixed for the better, it's a completely different series.

agreed legend was the first one I liked i played the first two on ps1 aswell
controls were awesome so was the engine and graphics and the puzzle's wernt as difficult as they were in the 2nd one

legend was awesome but i have to say uncharted was way better IMO

This looks cool. I've always been a Lara fan and have only missed one game (that being the crapfest prior to Legend). Maybe I won't cancel my SS Lara Croft PF after all.

Cool a PS3 tomb raider.
Hopefully they have improved it.
Legend was a step in the right direction but it wasn't quite right yet. Hopefully this will be a little better

Not into Tomb Raider but I'm sure there great games, or most of them. Played the Legend demo.

Haha this is exactly why I never got into it and wondered why people loved it so much. I just don't find Lara Croft or her games appealing after all those trial and error games they went through. And yeah it's out for the 360 too!

Yeah I guess though lately everything looks the same and since the system isn't really the subject it could have just been "Tomb Raider Underworld" :p Unless there's severe differences in each game like the new release of Bully on 360 and Wii which was originally only on the PS2. I'm just joking though I have all systems so I'll always take up one side and defend another just for the hell of it :)

I think it's also coming to the PC though. I think it's assumed that Tomb Raider is now a cross platform franchise.

True but to the right you can click the 360 and PC links to the game as well....so it's an all console deal. Except Wii.

Looks cool but I'll wait until its out and see what early buyers say about it 1st. Just bought a PS3, mostly for the Blu-Ray but have several games now: The Darkness, Conan & Heavenly Sword. All 3 games are pretty good IMO.

Which is why I rented it. But length doesn't mean the game isn't a good game. It's a really good game, great graphics, fun gameplay, only problem is it's short.

The game rocks, but it's still way too easy. I remember back in the days of badly pixled TR when you couldn't find the spot to jump without trying 20 times and dying horribly. Now it may as well be marked out.

And don't get me started on that field assistance thing-If you can't work it out, try harder, don't get Lara to tell you! :stick:

BioShock and Resistance 2 are must-haves. I'm playing Mortal Kombat vs DC quite a bit, if you are into fighting games. The new Call of Duty will be my next purchase, everybody is raving about that one.
