I have been to Target, Walmart's, and Toyrus. I was in Las Vegas the whole month of January. I did not see any figers other then one Duke and I went about 15 times during the month to these stores.
Since I have been back in California I have been to Target and Walmart everyday for the last two weeks. All they had were a couple of Buzzers on the shelf. Last week I went to Target and they had a bunch but only one Scarlett which is what I want. So I got the Scarlett. I was in Walmart today, they had two Buzzers, one Gun-Ho, one Road Block, and two Scarlett's. I about crapped my pants they had two Scarlett's whoo hoo... I have only found one Lady Jaye I would like to get a few more of her. But darn these things are hard to find.

Sorry I can't help, the last G.I. Joe I got was back in 1968, Scarlett, Buzzer, Road Block, Lady Jaye, What the F! is this???
Yeah, Yeah, I know it's those New Fangled G.I. Joe's, they got names and there's even Chick G.I. Joe's, I just remember the painted Hair, goofy fingered, FS'd figures.
Maybe someday I'll check them out, Good Hunting!

Can't be taking valuable peg space away from the Spider-Man 3, Naruto and Pirates of the Caribbean toys, can we? Heaven forfend that the toys that people want are given adequate room and kept in stock!
Remember the good ol' days? I remember going to Child World (a chain that sadly no-longer exists) and they had an entire 1/4 aisle devoted to nothing but G.I. Joe: ARAH figs and vehicles. These days, if there's three individual pegs in Wal-Mart that have a figure on them, that's a lot.

We had Childrens Palace in Ohio. I remember they had tons of Super Powers, G.I.Joe. Thundercats were scarce when I was a kid. But now maybe there are just to many toys. I notice most places have a case at most of Toys. They no longer stock 20 cases of He-Man, Gijoe like they used to.
A co-worker of mine found me 4 Scarletts yesterday. So now I have 8 Scarletts, and one Lady Jaye. I keep looking on Ebay for the older ones. I have yet to pull the trigger on the $300 Scarlett.

I think you just came up with another reason why these are so hard to find. :thumbsdow

LOL - I still have one buried somewhere in my parents backyard in an old cigar box wrapped in TP like a mummy. I had the big ones too.

I picked up another two today. They had 4 at Target but two of them were not in the best shape. I'm thinking about having Sienna Miller sign one of these for me tomorrow. I know she is playing the Baroness but I don't have a Baroness figure.

Why the unhealthy obsession with Scarlet?:peoples:
Between you and the scalpers, there's no wonder there are shortages! Leave some on the pegs for other folks, dude!:(

Mine, mine there all mine.:buttrock:
Hmmmm, I might have to check these out to see if they're decent versions. A good friend of mine is the state manager of TRU here in Australia. Maybe he can help me out ;) Best,

Royd, if you were a fan of the ARAH G.I. Joe, you're gonna love these. Whenever I see them, I totally regress to my prepubescent self. I haven't actually bought any, though, because I just don't have room for them, and if I buy one, I'm gonna have to buy them all.

Can't seem to get a picture to post today, so here's a link to a site with all kinds of pictures of Scarlett:

funny thing i was missing the Cobra officer from the 1st wave , found 2 behind some legos at toys r us last week i was shocked , 1 that i found 1st wave figures and 2 at toys r us
The 25th figures were plentiful in this area up through wave 3. After that, nada. I gave up and sold them.

You have to be there at the right time. I never really had a problem getting these, but it did take some patience.
Now I don't have to worry about running across town and all over the place to get these, because I sold them all to make place for more kickass statues and 1/6th figures!:buttrock:

I used to see the first couple of waves only very ocassionally. If I happened to walk through a toy department at the right time, I might coem across a set, but a day or two later and they'd be gone. With this latest wave (with Scarlett), stores must be ordering heavier, because they've suddenly become peg warmers. My Wal-Mart has about 5 or 6 pegs worth of this wave and they've gone absolutely nowhere.

Actually, the latest assortment (Wave 5) has Snowjob, Crimson Guard, Flash and a couple of others in it. I suspect he reason the Wave 4 figures (Scarlett, Gung Ho, etc.) have become such peg warmers is that they're essentially the same figures that were packaged in the 5-pack boxed sets that debuted last summer (and are still plentiful). Single-carding them so soon after the box sets was a recipe for instant peg-warmer status.

Weird. I saw the wave with Snowjob and CG long before the Scarlett wave showed up here.

Wow. I get all my stuff online (because it's a damned pain to find any 25th anniv. single figures around here) and my Scarlett case arrived way back in December, but Snowjob & co. didn't arrive until late January/early February. Oh, and I misspoke...the Snowjob asst. isn't the latest. Wave 6 with Torpedo, Rock 'N Roll, Battle Armor Coba Commander & black Snake-Eyes(because all the earlier ones were actually grey) started shipping a couple of weeks ago. :)
