Got my delivery today from 1stopdiecast.
Lots of pictures out there now of this.
But this is my Batmobile. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
Not perfect, but it will hold me over fine until the elites start coming out.

I don't either, but I will make an exception this time.
I usually stick to 1/64 and 1/18.

Anyone know why the 1:18 Hot wheels batmobile is selling for above retail when it can be ordered at Toysrus?
http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2983689
Also, what is the difference between the elite and reg versions? They're both Hot wheels, right?
Thanks!

THe regular Hot Wheels 2007 series had a Batmobile. Anyone know if the 2008 series has one?
I was in WalMart yesterday and did not see any 1:50 scale cars for Batman. Only cheap plastic remote control cars.

To start off, if you want tons of details, and moving parts, this inexpensive version is not for you. You need to go to the higher priced(Elite), or the even higher priced(Super Elite) versions of this car. However, if you just want a great die cast car from one of America’s classic TV shows, and one of the world’s greatest super heroes, then this is for you. that is why I picked this one. This will go great in any collection. This car looks beautiful, is great for the younger or older Batman fan.

I was at Wal-Mart yesterday and found the new 1:50 scale Batmobiles. Three pegs full of them, oddly there were no TDK Batmobiles(Tumblers) in the bunch.

I just called Toysrus and was told that this Hot Wheels reg rd Batmobile has been discontinued. I guess that means unless you found a store who has yet to sell out of it, eBay might be the way to go.

I had read that they would restart production of the regular one in July. They may have stopped to work on the elite version.
I think this is the best place for news on everything.....

Hotwheels really needs to ramp up production on this stuff, it sells out fast, people want more.

The various elite editions seem pricey though not astronomical when compared to Master replicas props and Bowen bronze revisits. Are there signed editions of the Barmobile planned too?
Anyone know of a place that offers the best deals?
