we just love the Marvel characters. Sometimes they come out as we see them, sometimes they are a bit safer, but we always enjoy doing them and have gotten really lucky with a couple of them making it into the main stream of collectibles.

this is the Earth X Captain America we did with Ross, I started this up as a sketch, when he saw it he was like lets do that one , like I said we've been more than lucky a couple of times.

I really loved that thor sculpt, to bad the styrene kit came nowhere close to the original, the statue lost so much detail when marvel put it out.

Still trying to track down the THANOS FS from BD, one of the elusive piece's I'm missing, SOB, Too much JD when it was up for order, never believed the bad paint up BS either, I have never seen this on any of the ones in stores or show's I frickin' passed up.
Once again Thank's for the Great piece's and looking forward to many more to add to my already overflowing collection.

thanks guys, thanks Fog

Glad you like the Thanos, it's cool to have those out there, the Marvel stuff is so official it's like doing stuff for posterity. I think the paint thing happens to just a certain amount of prepaints, it's surprising it does not happen more. Anyway I hope you get one, best wishes

will that juggernaut vs. hulk ever be made available?

They sold the original sculpture on eBay a long time ago.

Vader

How much did that go for?

jsoex
05-01-2008, 01:02 PM
I think it sold between $500-$600. From what I remember, the sculpture is smaller than Bowen scale, at about 8" (??) tall overall. The auction was atleast five years ago, and it was one of the Shiflett's first eBay auctions.

I wonder how much it would go for today. I expect a lot more.

jsoex

Now that I think about it, I think it sold for about $900, because I remember that particular auction sold for more than their other auctions. Most of the Shiflett's auctions sold between $300-$500, which is very low for an original sculpture, especially since if it's from the Shifletts.
