that's actually not a bad likeness. I would prefer the wide shoulder Byrne thing as opposed to the more man like one in this movie but it looks alright. Once again I will reinterate only Bowen does the Marvel universe as I would like to see it done.

I'll pass. The movie Thing looks horrible in my humble opinion. I think Sideshow wasted great talent making this version.

The costume is horrible in my opinion and just looks so low budget. It looks like a guy in a foam suit, not the Thing. I would have preferred CGI or even better they should have had the crew that created the movie Hellboy make the Thing costume.

Thats what I was thinking. He is dead on with the movie pictures. Its a pity they wasted his talent on the movie version rather than the comics one.

Have you guys ever seen the Fantastic Four original indy flick? The Thing looked alot how the comic books showed him and he had the brow and everything. But he looked worse in my opinion cause he looke like an orange ninja turtle, and you could tell it was a guy in there cause he was shorter then the rest. IMO they did an ok job on bringing him to the screen.

How about giving the new version a chance looks good to me especially with the cigar,
the film may make this statue the one everyone wants !
but it would make a good custom just to put the brow thing on.

I think they should change keeps it interesting lots of the super heroes have changed in appearance (Batman, , ironman, daredevil, cyclops, hulk etc etc) once your used to them its usually for the better, so I am getting one of these while I can because everyone going to want it.

I really like this statue. I think it looks great. I would buy if there wasn't so much Bowen product coming out.
The cigar is a nice touch, hope to see Ben smoking his stogie on the big screen!

I actually like it. I wish he could look like the statue in the movie. This movie look is lame but at least the statue looks Thingish. I like it but there's not enough money to go around.
