When you hear the name of William Paquet, I am sure
that many of you think of the great pieces he had
done for companies like DC Direct, Bowen Designs,
and ReelArt Studios.

But I thought it would be fun to look at some of the
other things he had done. I haven't (personally)
painted many of Williams pieces. I look forward
to the day I can take some time and paint the
beautiful Vampire kits he had sculpted. And of
course, I still need to pick up the Green Haze.

But here is one that William had sculpted for
Geometric Designs (a garage kit company that
produces licensed models)

The likeness to Boris Karloff is uncanny, a very well
designed and executed sculpture!

Let me put it this way, if I had the chance to spend the afternoon having tea with either Batman or Leatherface, I'd be eating head cheese and learning the finer points of sloughing and evisceration.

This has always been a favorite rendition of the Mummy to me. Uncanny likeness to Karloff. Man, looking at it makes me want to break out the Tanna leaves. Thanks for sharing old memories Dan. :buttrock:

This is one of my favorite Paquet pieces, though I don't have one :bawling: . Hopefully someone will post pics so everyone can see what a great piece it is. :buttrock:

Evidently he's a two-barreled typist.

So handsome and so talented. You must be very proud of your son.

Damn William, looks like you trapped Karloff's soul in there! And the paints are dead on, Danno (pardon the pun).
