My Monster bust just arrived today and WOW! If anyone is on the fence about this series, I suggest you land on the ground with your feet running and get one of these! Sculpted by William Paquet, the Monster has great detail and -- at 8 inches tall -- has some serious heft to it! Mine is No. 50 of 500.
I didn't order "The Bride" with "The Monster" and now I see I've made a mistake. I'm going to order a Bride really soon.

OK, I couldn't take it another hour. I just now e-mailed ReelArtStudios to order the Bride.
My Monster is lonely! (errr, boy, that sounds a little sad and pretentious at the same time ...:confused2 )
My monster detolf is shaping up! I've got Buffy pieces, Marvel Zombies, Man-Thing, Michael Myers and Walking Dead zombies and now a Paquet Monster! :)

I preordered both and I'm chewing at the bit waiting for them. Just received notice from my supplier that they couldn't get them from their normal distributer and had to now go straight to the source.
I hope all will be cool. That Monster looks even better than I thought and I thought he looked pretty damn good in the 1st place. 5-7 days to ship, I hope I can make it. Great shots Rilynil. :thumbs2:

What scale are they? 1/6th?

Thanks Claudio.
I think 1/6 is close. I'm just about to start working on a full size sculpt of the Monster at a height of 12 inches. That would be proper height for a 6 foot tall figure in scale, but since he's "the MONSTER" I'd say it's safe to assume he would be closer to 14 inches at 1/6.

I just read your post, William. Is this still in the works? And would it be a GK or a pre-paint? Thanks in advance!

Still in the works, currently the finished product type is up in the air. I wish I didn't have so many other commitments because I would love to just get this piece done right now.

I think it was Hyde and The Phantom. Our plans were to do two a year.

I'm looking forward to recieving the Monster and Bride that I won in the RAS contest in another thread and then adding to the collection as they become available. Is there any word when in 2009 the additional pieces (Hyde and Phantom) will be coming available?

Do you mean a whole new sculpt or just put legs on this one? I don't know much about sculpting but I believe as part of my prize I am receiving the original head of the monster sculpt. I don't know why it would be seperated from the body but that is my understanding. Maybe William can explain it better. I am really looking forward to it in any case

The head is separate because I re used the rest of the wax that comprised the figure.
Your stuff will ship soon, I just have to noodle a few things first.

Wow that never even occured to me. I suppose you've sculpted so much cool stuff it is no big deal to just re-use the wax, I was just thinking that you had all your original stuff stored somewhere. Still will be cool to have the original head though. I will have to work up a display idea for it. Anybody got any suggestions?
