if i want to insert a youtube clip straight into a thread without someone having to click onto another address, how do you do it?

You need to copy and paste the line of code that says "embed" into your post.

However, it'll only work in a section of the fourm where the HTML code is switched on - you can check this in the "Posting Rules" which are on the bottom left hand side of the page. Otherwise, you have to post a normal link.

On the youtube page copy the text within the Embed window.

Then paste that text into your post.

Keep in mind I think this only works in the Movies/TV/DVD/Music section since that's the only section where HTML is enabled for posting.
