Who's Mike Hill?

LOL! Here's a link to his site

http://mikehillart.com/gallery.htm

love his works! Specially the Alex Ross inspired marvel busts, Venom from sideshow and the Life Size Superman and Batman statues he did for AR. Simply Phenomenal. My favorite sculptor of all time. Got me into collecting life size busts actually. =) More power to you sir.

He's a guy that started messing around the GK scene right about the same time as me, but moved along a different path that took him away from comic statues in another direction that a lot of guys here might not know.

Obsessed with Oliver Reed, and the best 1/1 sculptor in the biz.

And last time I saw him he seemed to be working toward being the next Dorian Yates.:buttrock:

I agree, we need a little British invasion from my favorite sculptor across the pond. Here's my vote for a "Mike Hill" forum, as long as he promises to keep it frequently updated with those phenomenal sculpts of his. I need some inspiration! :)

I bought one of Mike's Curse of the Werewolf kits from him at one of the Mad Model Partys. He is a great guy and talented as all get out, a master of likenesses. For you strictly comic book character statue guys, he sculpted the Prowler MB for Bowen :buttrock: :buttrock: :buttrock:

Mike Hill doesn't need his own section...if you want to see his work, all you have to do is look at a picture of whoever it is you would like to see him sculpt. then just imagine that person without arms and in some lucky collector's glass case. :thumbs2:

I remember Mike Hill was at the last Imagination Expo in Vegas a few years back. His panel was like 9:00 in the freakn mornin!

After a big night in vegas and hung over like hell, I showed up bright and early with a pen and notepad!

When Mike Hill talks... you take notes!
