Would you read a series of novels based the runs of marvel titles?

Would you read a series of novels based the runs of marvel titles?

For instance an adaption of the first team-up of the avengers against the hulk. And then another novel covering the avengers versus hulk, phantom and namor and the intro of captain america. And then a third novel with the team fighting kang.

I'd love a novel based on a Marvel character(s). DC does them (at least Superman), why not Marvel.

Hey, thanks man! I'd like to think I could do some of them justice...

Oddly enough though, as important as story is to me, I've never been able to sustain interest in the novels I've read, comic-wise. I'm thinking particularly of the X-Men novels. I just couldn't get into them.
