Cool man! Way to go with the sig. I'll get my hands on one when the time comes. Right now I have 2 kits lined up for paint, so between paying for the kits and paint I'm tapped out on statue purchases for the time being.

Right now photography is strictly a hobby for me. I bought a domain name back in college (www.mcmphotography.com) but I have yet to build the site. I hope to turn it into a business in the future. 100% self taught thus far but I plan to take some classes to improve my skills.

I hear ya...it's not much $ but it's a start depending on how you look at it. I'm going to start to look for small local gigs and see if I can at least make a few bucks with the camera here and there. Hey, you never know, it could lead to bigger and better things.

Where has your wife been finding these ads? Any suggestions on where to look?

Here are some pictures I took recently at an 80th birthday party. I just got some new after effects programs (Focal Point 1 and Nik Color Efex Pro 3) so I started messing around with Focal Point and it's pretty neat. Easy to use and produces nice results similar to a specialty/selective focus lens such as a lensbaby.

It was sculpted by Chris G. and produced as a licensed kit by Brothers In Resin. Only 100 were made and I believe it is now sold out. Paints were applied by John Allred of Here Be Monsters :thumbs2:

Tried some new flash effects. Adjusted the contrast some and messed around with a border in p-shop. Not bad, but i need some better brushes...soon.

So this past weekend I attended a huge Audi/Volkswagen show in Jersey. I rented a 50mm f1.4 for the day to give it a test drive. What a fun lens! This will probably be the next lens I purchase. Now for some pics. Thanks for looking :thumbs2:

Wow! Is all that comes to mind when I'm looking at your pictures. Once I feel that I'm ok at take pictures of my statue. I want to take up the photograghing the world around me.

Patman, the Sunset pic w/ my Audi is indeed HDR. It was the first HDR I ever created. I like the way it came out but there was a good amount of noise in the image when viewed full size. Probably due to the large black areas and the high ISO used.

The newer pics of my Audi in post #81 are not HDR and more or less straight from the camera. Very minor adjustments in post.
