How about a TARDIS??? But she does seem to have similar technical "problems" to (a "falling") SHIELD Helicarrier....sometimes.

Indeed, travels literally anywhere. As you say the problem is the relative immobility of the Tardis once it does land, and that rascals, vagabonds and other ne'er-do-wells have been known to make off with it, chuck it down mineshafts, make paradox machines out of it, etc, etc ....
