I'll read the review. But how does the "Ultimate" version of I.M. differ from the classic one?

Supossedly Tony Stark's history for one is quite different then the original. So, far the first issue does not introduce Tony Stark at all. It is basically revolving around his parents.

From what I can tell Tony will have somekind of skin conditon and too boot his brain will be far advanced then regular humans by means of his mother's experiments.

Hey . . . be nice. ;)

I guess I so abhor the Ultimate FF that I made the (erroneous) assumption that all the "Ultimate" books stunk . . .

Actually Confessor I love the Ultimate Universe and I am a long time fan of Marvel too. I just think it is great to see new twists to the characters that we have grown up with and love dearly.

Then again we can all look at the Ultimate Universe as a big WHAT IF?

Yeah, I suppose...so long as they dont discard the "classic" universe...ever. I suppose the big thing that I dont like about the Ultimate Fantastci Four is that they seemed to make them so young...barely above teenie boppers...ugh!

I don't read the Ultimate Universe, with the one exception of the Ultimates book itself. Excellent work. Based on this, I picked up and also reviewed Ultimate Iron Man. But don't read Ultimate Spidey, FF or any others.
