So... I've been given a place of my own amongst the rest of the rabble. :-) Now what?

I'm a slow typist, so your patience is greatly appreciated. And I'm a night owl, so don't be pissed if I don't get in to reply early.

I'll try and post as many pictures as I possibly can and answer any questions that I'm capable of. A lot of my work is not superhero related (altough I do love the genre), so I hope I'll surprise some of you.

I'm actually going to be away a lot over this weekend, so I apologize ahead of time if I'm scarce, but I'll make up for it afterwards.

Thanks to the mods also, as I really appreciate the opportunity to have such a prestigious spot in the Statue Forum!

Later,

Mark Van Tine

Thanks all for the warm welcome.

Now if only I could do something new that would take the place of the Man-Thing in some of your hearts... ;-)

So Mark, will you be stopping by Wizard World Philly this weekend?

I was there today! I hung out quite a bit with the Shifletts and met Clay Moore for the first time. He's one of the best there is and I'm thrilled to finally get to chat for a couple of minutes. Of course Barndon and Jarrod are always cool.

I bumped into the one and only Drod at Clay's both too. I'd met him a couple of years ago, but it took us a fewminutes to recognize each other- pretty funny!

I'm heading back tomorrow for the day. Philadelphia really is a beautiful city.

Mike Wallace and I used a molder/caster that he knew who specializes in those big nasty type kits. Dinosaur great Shane Foulkes also uses him I believe.

If you're talking about the one I did for RB, I really don't know the status. I think Randy wants to do some revisions on him?

Hope it gets out of the gate though...
