We're giving you guys (and gals) your own little corner of the forum. It's something that's been on the mods minds for a while, and recent events have finally pushed us over the edge to doing it. In addition, we're going to allow you (within reason) to police yourselves. So, we need the following things from everyone who participates in the group threads:
1) If I'm missing a group that really needs it's own sub-forum here, let me know and I'll add it
2) YOU need to decide who is going to get the limited mod-powers for your sub-forum. Each section will have 2 people with the ability to edit/delete posts, close/re-open threads and change the titles of threads as needed.
Mod rules are:
-whomever is chosen to be the mods of your section will be held up to the same standards as regular forum mods, so don't think that getting CK13 or Pablo as a mod is going to allow the sections to be a free for all.
-If a mod misbehaves, or allows things which are against forum rules, he'll be demodded.
-Section mods are responsible for suggesting people to be banned from their respective sections. So, if CK13 is causing trouble in R.O.T., and that sections mod asks for him to be banned from R.O.T., off he goes.
-No person may be moderator of more than one section (so Ryche can't be a mod for both R.O.T. and G.O.R.E.).
-A forum mod, obviously, outranks a section mod. If we say something, it goes, no argument. Sectional mods have no authority over other sections of the forum, nor do they have a say in the operations of the forum.
I think that should be it. As soon as the groups let me know who they want as mods, I'll add them in :thumbs2:
Any questions? PM me.
