Hot toys dutch and billy

Hi! I´m new in this forum. First of all I would like to apologize for my english, it´s been a long time since I don´t practice it...

My name is Sergio, I´m from Spain and I´ve been reading this forum for 3 or 4 months until today, when I decided to register. I hope to have good time reading you and sharing one of my hobbies, collecting statues and figures.

However I want to start my first post with a good new, maybe some of you knew about it... (I don´t know if this is the right place to post) but I´m sure that others don´t know... I´m talking about the upcoming 1/6th DUTCH and BILLY action figures from the 1st Predator movie, so far we don´t have enogh information, just some pics, look and judge by yourself:

What do you think? I like hot toys figures, but particularly I don´t like the painting in the face, I see too much painting. Let´s see if hot toys decide to release them and then I´ll decide if I buy them or not.

The likenesses are off and even the overload in face paint can't cover that up. Welcome to the forum :D

I've been waiting for these for a long time. I do agree the camo face paint is too much. But you can always repaint it or get a Pro to repaint their faces.

I guess I also have the buy a predator now.

Hi Alejandro, they have never produced The Predator from the first movie. Just from the second one, and from the AVP.

What I´d love to see is a hot toys colonial marines car-tank (like the one in the movie) in scale 1/6. I´m sure they´ll make it, since they dare with the batmobile.

Actually, paint overload like that CAN ruin a great likeness, no question about it. Heck, even the slightest paint inaccuracy can throw off a very well sculpted likeness, as we've seen happen in this market a zillion times.

The liknesses are very close, especially Billy... The heavy inaccurate camo was intended to hide the sculpted likenesses (they didn't have the rights to the actors faces). The sculpts have since been altered and won't look like Arnold & Sonny in the final figures.

The figures themselves are extremely well done though, can't wait to get them.
