LOTR busts go insane!!!

Tried to win 2 auctions today for a treebeard and an arwen bust.
The beard went for $455 and the arwen for $192. Unreal!
I thought maybe I could get all the busts at some point but at this rate there is no way. These two along with Gandalf white may be totally out of reach.
Oh well, I can pick up the arwen statue for around $100.

True that I hear you. Though A Treebeard for that much, you should have picked up. It's gonna rocket soon enough. I missed one but he wanted over 400 and was chipped so I said no thanks, (it was an auction).

On a side note I just picked up Gandalf the Grey bust for $100 bucks! This guy on ebay had taken him off to sell it to me and is going to see if his friend has another if not the White one. I can't wait to get him in this week. Chances are looking good for completing the Fellowship (for the most part) this time!

I feel your pain as I too will probably not be able to get all the busts that I want.The hardest part for me is deciding which ones to go for and which to let pass by because after all.....I want them all! :laugh:

Yeah it's getting pretty bad lately. I just started on the good guys too. I'm going to have to save-up to go after the big boys. Arwen, Aragorn, both Gandalfs and that damn Merry are going to be brutal. At least I already have Treebeard, so thats one biggie out of the way.

You aint just whistlin dixie I gotta start coughin up real cash for these last busts picked up a comicon smeagol for 28 other dayand I am down to needed 14 busts to finish off series but that includes all the expensive ones.

I saw that auction too Sniper, I wish I could get a Bilbo at your price. I really would like to get him. He's my fave of the hobbits next to Sam.
