My question to Sam is simple: Why must this bitter rivalry between cake and pie go on?! Both are perfectly delicious baked goods!
it's not worth all the bloodshed!
Sam, my brother, please note that Great Destroyer...youthful, impressionable lad that he is...is unaware of any implied or otherwise statue forum uses of pie as a metaphor.
Now, sir Sam, prithee answer away!

listen kid,
I appreciate the time taken away from texting and youtube to ask me a question, but seriously. Pie. End of story. You are young, so I'll cut you some slack, but pie. It's not about choice, it's about what is right, and pie is right. Word.

Truer words have not been spoken. It's sort like asking: Maryann (pie) or Ginger (cake).
Don't get me wrong;I wouldn't kick Ginger out of the sack, but she's more of a short term thing. Maryann is the girl who'll be there for the long haul, and look good doin' it. Just sayin'...

But then there's Jeannie, who would be something better than pie, or the ultimate pie, or pie squared, or....well, you get my drift.

Jeanie is like Pie with ice cream. Pie, outstanding by itself, but with Ice Cream, damn yo. Seriously. Damn...

I was looking for the correct "pie" terminology for Jeannie and Pie a la mode fits the bill. Jeannie is not only Pie a la mode, but Pie a la mode with caramel topping and gently warmed in the microwave.
But as stated by RB, I wouldn't kick Maryanne or Ginger out of the bed for eating cookies.
Damn!

As pie experiences great revelment in the paling of cake in this comparison, cake weeps an ocean in the humiliation of its boundless failure.

Yeah, well what about cheesecake? It isn't really a cake, and it looks like a pie. Is it a desert with an identity crisis? Does it know what it is? Or perhaps it is a missing link. You tell me...

Cake is fake...it needs a sugary coating to cover up its essential flaws.
Pie is the clear winner, always moist, sweet, and with that essential tangy goodness, What's not to love? Perfection!

What about "Tart". I love me some fresh berry with custard and a nice crumble base tart.

Everytime I think of tart I can only associate it with a very tasty prostitute.
I came across with this great definition of PIE:
"The greatest edible entity currently known to man."

Randy, the kid's only 16. He's got a lot to learn about the ways of the world. At some point, hopefully, he'll mature enough to understand the ways of pie. :)
