Remember this guy?
This is a sculpture I started a loooooooong time ago, based on a cool Marvel Knights cover.
I dearly love this project but I'm so busy working on commissions and doing other stuff it's very hard to find the time to work on my own stuff.
This is Super Sculpey and those who have used it know that it slowly hardens over time if not baked--so how do you keep a long-term sculpture alive and workable?
You use a technique I learned from Katherine Dewey, which is to slather it with Sculpey diluent with a soft paintbrush every other month or so. The diluent soaks into the aging Sculpey and keeps it alive and well.
I do hope to finish this before too much longer. I am going to eventually sculpt a Sue Richards to go with it.
