I felt these were well worth the look. Marvels (http://www.toymania.com/customcorner/cc14/marvels.shtml) of the 1800's. Customized figures of everyone's favorite Marvel Characters. I came across these gems while looking for images of a certain character I want to attempt to sculpt and thought they were worth sharing. So check them out and let me know what you think.

I like these concepts as a comic or as a cartoon but don't like them as action figures.

I agree... Would be very interesting to see a story depicting these characters in this form. Not sure on a television series (cartoon/live action) but a graphic media would do quite well, I think.
