I am strongly considering going to the Ohio Comic Con.
1. It's a Comic Con
2. Get to see our GORE Friends
3. Get to see the Perna's

How many would be interested in a road trip ?
It is October 4th adn 5th (Sat + Sun)

I can fit 4 pretty comfortably in the Challenger, but if we have more, and my girl agrees, we can use her Buick Enclave which is very comfortable for long trips !

or if we have even more maybe we can rent something more suitable.

If you are interested, please vote.
We have time so you can think about it for a bit, but would like to have definate answers since we are talking serious bucks for gas and tolls I am sure at least 2 weeks before the trip.

and we can discuss at the next Mafia Meeting Conveniently located in JStorm's signature.

Not a problem. I am sure a 10hr drive in Coffy, brother Lou in the driver seat and good tunes would be a pleasure!

Not to mention better then the 21hr flights I take every year to Asia. And I fly coach! And when I land its a 2hr bus ride to the subway in Tokyo which is 20 more minutes. All in all a 24hr commute! Brutal! :D

OHIO-CON Road Trip is a dream! :D

Brutal it is! but well worth it when you get there! Just plan to stay longer then 4 days.

Unsolicited advice -- My wife is from Columbus and I have made the trip from NJ direct there several times. I have driven the NYC to Cleveland trip at least 50 times. While mapquest often gives a slow time, it actually is a 10 hour trip. If possible take 80 through most of Penn instead of the Penn Tpk. It may be more miles but you should be able to go faster as it is not up and down mountains. Plus there are less semis on 80 and the lanes on the road are wider so it is not as terryfying at certain points.

No worries. I understand it's a long drive for them and the cost of gas is killer. 10 hours for them compared to 6 and half hours for us makes a big difference.
