Saturday November 22nd, 12 to 4 PM
It's not that cheap at $45 a person, but thats including all the beer you can drink in 4 hours.
You know how much that is? A F*CK'N LOT.
Figure we spend more then that a person at hooters just drinking.

What Say You? :buttrock:

LOL. My son just went to a Colorado beer expo last weekend. 3500 different types of beer. You get a small glass that holds about an ounce and go from vendor to vendor tasting different types of beer.

4 hours later, I'm picking him up at our lightrail station (good thing he didn't drive there) after tossing his pretzels in a trash can at one of the stops. He was miserable the whole weekend. He swears he'll not go to that again.

Saw beer and it caught my eye. I've been to a one of these myself in New London and Boston. Great time. They gave me a little cup that holds 7 ounces and there were about a hundred vendors there. I made it about 3 hours before I gave up and had to get picked up.
Easy to lose track of how much you've had when the cup never empties. I might be willing to do the trip if I can get Mark to come.

Mmmm....Beer...One Halloween..When The Brother and I were in college...We went trick or treating with beer mugs in hand...We went to a friend's house and bummed a beer...Then he took us to a friend of his and all of us bummed a beer from him...and that one took all of us to another...and so on...I don't know how many stops we made in all...I don't even remember how we got home...

So if you drive there and drink. As soon as you leave, the police pull you over and give you a sobiety test. So why bother to go if you can't drink?

Why would anyone want to dish out $45 to just look at beer?
And to take the train you have to go into Penn Central and go out on the LIRR.

Designated driver is only $10...

Still, it's stupid.

They should have cots and everyone should be able to sleep it off.

I'm going to be crashing with a few friends and we are looking to rent a party bus to get us there and back. If there aren't too many and depending on how the big the ride is we should be able to do a train pick up from a station.
