Does anyone else collect these???

I just broke down and bought Harley Quinn off of Ebay. I'm tired of looking. I have only seen Wave 1, adn 3 at stores. Wave 3 I only saw a set once in the morning at Target. Then I saw Night Wing, and Robin another day. Then last week I saw a lone Green Lantern. The distribution on these sucks. Plus only 6 per case, and the store gets one case every 3 weeks.... Blahh...

Two weeks ago I bought Wonder Woman, and Artemis off Ebay.

The poor distribution has kept me from ever getting involved thankfully. i would have liked to have had all the bat-villains, but they have been so spotty i never even bothered. Mattel is their own worst enemy!

great line, have most of them. Grodd and Grundy are great figures, haven't seen any series 4 yet but am less excited about that one anyway

I got the Ronnie Raymond Firestorm & the Hal Jordan Green Lantern. Firestorm is great but the sculpt on GL is bad. Too many moveable joints & he looks like he's got no neck. Some figures come out nice & the rest is awful.

I've got the superheroes line, everything frm the superman Family except fr LUther, Lookin fr him now...

From the DC UNiverse, M only planning to get Wonderwoman so far. Mullet Superman has also gt my attention.

The BAF's r quite cool though.. Will check the 'bay fr those if i get a good deal..

I hardly get to stop at Wal-Mart, there not around here. However I was driving by one today at 6AM. I decided to stop. All they had were wave 1 Tornado's, Demon, and Penguin...

I LOVE this DC Universe line! I have been collecting DC Direct and Marvel Legends for years and feel IMO that the DC Universe line are the BEST superhero action figures out there. Fantastic sculpts from the Four Horsemen and the PERFECT amount of articulation (not statues like DC Direct and not marionettes like ML's). I know there have been some complaints about paint apps but ALL the figures I have got have perfect paint apps. Distribution has been the ONLY down side to this line but I have found EVERY figure including most variants at Target (waves 1 thru 4) but classic Aquaman (which I later found two at a local supermarket Stop&Shop!). Also scale is mostly uniform and only $10.99 per figure and only five figures needed to build the BAF! This line is slowly replacing my DC Direct figures. If you can't find these at stores I would recommend ordering online with either www.Cornerstorecomics.com or www.Enchantedtoychest.com. Good prices and great service! BTW Marvelboi77 check out Wonder Woman in wave 4!

yeah i love these figures... i have never found them in a toys r us or walmart, only at Target.... I have a couple of them (GL, nightwing, all of wave 1, deathstroke variant, and both red and blue supermans), but am still looking around for some... but it's hard to keep up when you have no money. haha

I just got my $25 Harley Quinn in the mail. Then sent it with a box that was just the right width, but plenty of room for the toy to bounce from top to bottom with no padding in the box. I just love getting bent cards and crushed tops.....:thumbsdow

I pre-ordered Hawkgirl from Big Bad toy store. They have Barda for pre-order too, but I have never liked her...So I passed.

I'm not going to bother looking at Target everyday for these. I would rather just pay the extra $8(shipping included) and save the hassle...

Giganta is the build a figure, so you will have to buy all of them. I wonder why they call her Hawkgirl, when it's the Hawk Woman costume.

I ordered two Hawkgirls for $13.95 each plus $8 shipping from Big Bad Toy store.com Target rasied the figure to $12.09 not that they have them here anyways. These are such a pain to find, I'm just going to spend the extra... Oh yeah no tax either, so it will cost me around $5 extra per figure...:buttrock:

I was at Target today, and they had series 2 on the shelves. They must of got 4 or 5 cases. The Harley's and Aquaman's were all gone. They had 2 red Supermans, 3 blue Superman's, 4 Firestorms, and 3 Black Manta's. The shipping schedule on these is baffling.

mattel's distribution makes no sense... some of the cases going out are completely mixed up ratios and some of them are the Penguin/Red Tornado/Orion set.

i'd love to have someo f these but they're so damn frustrating to find in stores. quality control is crap too so ordering sight unseen via the WWW is iffy too. :(

no joke. there are so many of those figures i have never even seen except for a computer screen. i don't understand how mattel can just keep doing what they are doing despite so many people get upset and frustrated with them. people will buy the figures they just have to be able to find them!!!!

We saw only the DCSH wave which had Superman, Parasite, Supergirl ( blue ) and Steel. The rest ddin' come.

E-bay's been a good pal since then..

I just got in the line and have had no trouble getting most figures.

Wave 1 is the hardest for me to find, but I'm only missing Batman Beyond from the other waves. I also am missing Ronnie Raymond firestorm, but I found people to trade with.

I only went to ebay to get those kaybee toy store exclusives. The walmart exclusives suck, though, because not all walmarts carry them. fortuantley I found one near me that seem to get a steady supply.

Big fan of the line but unfortunately distribution within Australia is terrible. Thankfully I'm able to get most waves via online retailers - I wish the same could be said about Marvel Legends figures.
i was suprised to see the red hulk and the fin fan fum wave with chase figures loaded at all the local Target stores

Target stores within Australia? I had to source the Foom wave via a local online retailer and was lucky enough to score most of the Red Hulk and Ares waves (minus Guardian, Kang and Vision) on a recent work trip to Colorado.

Well Walmart is in short supply in Southern California. I went to the same Targe 6 days in a row last week, and nothing. I went to two differnt Targets today... Nothing. It seems like they get once case a month and with only 6 figures in it... They are gone..

I got a couple I won from the bay yesterday. Th Metallo BAF - It's fantastic, I can't describe how good a paint job this guy has.
Solomon grundy BAF - Fantastic sculpt and great details
Superman Blue - I ddin think i wd like him this much, bt he also has a great headsculpt
Cyborg superman - Used to be rare, n i had to have all the superman related figs.

I gt decent deals on 'em all, considering shipping to India.

I haven't gotten masked deathstroke, gold Captain Atom, Blue Superman, or Ronnie Raymond firestorm.

Question when at Toyrus today I saw the Orion, and some other guy two pack. On the back it shows a Batgirl and Azreal two pack. Are these real DC Universe figures up to the quality of the regular ones. The Batgirl on the box looked really skinny and not up to par with Harley, or Wonder Woman?

Well no Harley yet.. But I solved my Wonder Woman, and Artemis problem. I just bought a case of 6 from Big Bad Toy Store. They average $13.50 per figure with shipping. It comes with 2 Wonder Woman, and 1 Artemis. I will just take the other 3 back to Target for instore credit.

Went to three Wal-Marts today and found one Series 6 Mr. Miracle, none of the rest. I still have not come across the WM exclusive Series 5, and still need to find Series 4 Cyborg, Batman Beyond and Captain Atom(silver).

I was 50 miles from home today in Irvine. They had nothing on the shelf, so I scanned the tag. It said In Stock room YES!!!!!! I asked the toy person to look for me. He scanned it, called in the back. They said it was in the offsite stock. He said if I came back at 6:00PM he could have them for me. I don't live there, and I left around 2:30PM:banghead:

Mister Miracle has had 4 (at least) figures from Super Powers onward, and they all look great. The Kirby version from the New Gods line was especially cool, but i like the shackles that come with this one. Thanks for the pics Mike!

Hell I was even out in Chino Hills where they have a Mattel Wharehouse store.. All they sell is Mattel, and all they had were the 3inch figures. They did have all of the DC Heroine Barbies though.

Another VERY annoying thing is the build a figure dealo.

Metallo would have been a nice figure to have, but I am not buying them all just to get him or get scrooood on ebay for it.

I went to Target to get Aluminum foil, and Black Pepper. So I thought I would walk to the toy isle. As I was walking past the books, I saw a mint Harley Quinn sitting on top of the books.. Woohoo. I then walked to the toy section, 1 more Harley, 2 red Supes, and 2 Black Manta's. Of course the sale for $8.99 is over... $12.09 each. But I thought I could return Captain Atom, and Cyborg for the case I bought. I did buy Harley off of Ebay last month, isn't that always the way.

Got all the waves except the Wave 5 from Walmart. I just pre-order and buy my stuff from Bigbadtoystore. For wave 6 + shipping I paid $81.00. At 13.00 per figure: that means I just loose 10.00 and I don't have to drive around all the walmarts and targets and tru's in my area which I used to do.

I've been seeing a lot of wave 7 around here, but the cases that have been shipping don't include Camo Aquaman, Blue Beetle or Booster Gold. Plenty of Flash, Kid Flash, Captain Cold, Big Barda(and variant) and repacks of Batman and Green Lantern.

Blue Beetle, Booster Gold, and Camo Aquaman are in a second part of this wave. They split it into two groups

I got kid Flash finally.

I've got no other choice since DCUC figures aren't sold locally within Australia. There's talk that the line may be picked up by local retail outlets but I haven't seen or heard of any updates.

In the end pre-ordering a case of 6 or 10 figures works out to a decent enough deal and less troublesome than having to go through eBay. I've been able to get all waves (except wave 5 since it was a Wal Mart exclusive) without any issues via CornerStoreComics, EnchantedToyChest and BigBadToyStore.

I'm hoping store exclusives will be sold via the Matty Collector site (Mattel's online store).

It's hard to keep steady doing that. I've thought about taking a string and dipping it in paint and doing it that way.
