hey guys,

I have a halloween party on the 28th, and I have decided to go as the joker (who else!)

i have got all the makeup and some rigid collodion for scarring (which works great by the way), and i have also got the suit, gloves, and wig

i was just wondering if anybody had any tips for getting the make up just right?

I went as the joker to a party last saturday, and putting on the make up was fun!

I'll post pics later

I hate all these fans make ups, they all just look like a bucket of paint has been slapped on.

Well, it's not exactly easy for a casual fan to replicate what multiple professionals were paid to do on set to HL...

Come on, they slap all that paint on as if they're painting a house. Take it easy on the paint and it should look better.

i finally have everything i need for the costume!
and while i think everyone has a point about it not being easy to replicte the movie look, rigid collodion is superb or creating the scars and is only around $5 per bottle.

when applying the paint you have to try and be scruffy and exaggerate the lines on your face

everyone at work has asked me to dress up again for my shift on the release of the dark knight on DVD!

Awesome Job DK89!!
It is not an easy make-up job to reproduce.
I learned a lot from just trying to reproduce it once w/o a dry run at SDCC. Cutos for having the forehead creases!! The pics look great!
The more you do it, the better it will turn out! Just keep at it!!
:D

thanks for the comments! yeah i was quite pleased with the forehead too! although the paint itself came out a bit uneven, so next time i will probably use a powder make up instead of white cream!
