Marvel Legends Ares Series... opinions?

I wish someone would tell Hasbro that putting sky-blue highlights all over the white surfaces on superheroes without blue in their costumes looks awful.

I wanted a Marvel Legends Guardian to go with Sasquatch, but this one can stay on the 'Bay (with apologies to whoever took this photo.) Even ToyBiz's old TF exclusive (Archangel body, Blacklash head) painted up as Guardian looked better than this.

The Vision looks a little better than his skinny ToyBiz counterpart, but the collar on his cape looks odd.

Anyone seeing these in person who wants to make some recommends?

Is the Ares BAF worth shelling out big bucks to get on eBay?

So far I have only found Ultimate War Machine from this series when I was visiting Southern California last week. Looks to be a straight repaint of the Ult. Iron Man from Series 1.

Definitely.

If I can find an Ares figure at a reasonable BIN price, I may go for it, just to round out my ML Avengers collection... But as expensive as action figures are these days, that may be a good point to call it quits on Marvel Legends.

Rather than spend over $25 for a standard figure ($15 toy plus postage to get it out here), I'd rather save that money for busts and statues.
