We had a deal when we got married, I get the livingroom and hallway and she gets the rest. As long as it doesn't look cluttered she has no problem with it but when it does look cluttered she lets me know.

my wife conceded space in the bedroom until the basement could be finished. Now everything is down in the mancave. I still have a few pieces in the curio cabinet and china cabinet upstairs.

We don't have a hallway though

It's the Franklin Mint Spidey from 1997, sculpted by Steven Lord. He came on here one time and posted some info on it like why no lines on Spidey's costume. Answer: Because the statue is porcelain and the black lines would have bled into the red so they left them off.

They used to go for about $1200.00 but the last one I saw on eBay went for only $500 or $600. Still not too bad for a piece that originally sold for $300.00.

Thanks guys!

It is cool to have these things where I always see them but I've had to take precautions though to save them from my kids, sneezes, flying objects, dust, etc.

I took poster frames and cut the clear plastic to fit the shelves and entertainment center, kind of like sneeze guards at a buffet.

Nice collections Patrick, and I like the way you make the statues as part of the room rather than just a display. The busts are a bit cluttered tho, but if I collect that many busts and have my living room as a display I'd done the same. I haven't seen the Spiderman you have in glass box. Very attractive. It's not only got a nice base, but the paint job is awesome. What is it? Is it scale same as Bowen?

After a couple years stored away in the closet I had some wall space open up recently so I decided it was time for him to re-appear. Godzilla by James Cukr, I bought the print back in 1998-99 at a convention for $20.00 and it cost 10 times as much to frame it. The whole thing measures 30 1/4" x 39" and because they used UV glass it weighs like 15 lbs.

The shelves are pretty thick and there's brackets supporting the middle of them from bowing.
