I was given the opportunity to help out Bob with his magnificent 1/1 scale Joker piece. I really have not done much just lend a hand trying to make the overall look of some of the clothing more accurate. He is using the magnoli joker shirt and although it is top of the line quality the color is just not 100% correct. I very carefully dyed the shirt using a mixture of colors and the stitching stayed white so it looks like the shirt color is what it was actually meant to be. Here are a couple pics of the shirt with the vest.

Before:
http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg29/lforigno/IMG_0948.jpg

After:
http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg29/lforigno/IMG_0951.jpg

As for the vest we are going for the look he had post interrogation scene with the 2 custom buttons. One is a white flower/sun button and the other is a bronze mercury dime button. Here are a couple pictures of the actual vest used in the film with the custom buttons:

http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg29/lforigno/052.jpg
http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg29/lforigno/059.jpg

The buttons are a lot lighter in the pics because of the flash but they are a flat white and a bronze color. I was able to track down identical buttons to those used in the film, but had to change the color of them as the mercury dime button was originally silver and the flower/sun button was originally yellow, but they both turned out great.

I will post some finished pics tomorrow with the buttons finished and sewn on to the vest. I am just glad to lend a hand to what is going to turn out to be a masterpiece. But in the mean time here is a pic of what it will look like when it is done. This is the first set of clothing I did for my set of Joker clothes:

Bobby, you are creating a new generation of "high end" collectible, you know that? We joked about how cool it will be to have the motor functions on a life size bust a while back. As outstanding as the likeness was on its own, the addition of the mannequin totally complements the piece ! Perfect pose ...... Love the pencil by the way ( a little macabre sleight of hand never hurt anyone ....... unless.....). Your best work to date, Bob - and that is saying alot! Amazing !!

Hi Guys Thanks for the great words, although this is still in works, The 1/3rd will look exactly like this, eyes hair pose everything. the size will not dilute the quality of the work, actaully may even look more real
available options, pencil trick, bombs or interrogation version,
it may seem it takes a long time but I have been working on 3 at a time along side many other things.
they will come together fast now.
Thanks Guys

this really is amazing work, if i was told these were on set pictures i would never question it. I don't even think a lifecast would be more realistic. Amazing job. I know it is probably getting tight for you with space, I have the perfect place to hold that for you in my house.:drooling:

Dam Bobby, your silicone work is insane. I have my favourite artists for different things that I like to use, but I dont think anyone can argue that when it comes to silicone work and realism, you ARE the best. I gotta commision you to do some stuff for me in the future. You just keep getting better and better. Heck everytime I saw a new David done by you, its better than the last. Just wow, and what talent.:thumbs2:
