The Last Days of Krypton

My sister gave me this book several months ago and I finally picked it up a few days ago. I have to tell you, whether you're a Superman fan or not, this is a really great book. "Before Superman there was Krypton" is the tag line on the cover. This book is faithful both to the comics and the Christopher Reeve films, depicting the cast of characters and their lives, adventures and travails leading up to and ending with the inevitable destruction of Krypton. Not wanting to give too much away, you really become engrossed in the characters who include Jor-El, Lara, Zor-El and Zod.

Highly, highly recommended.

This was a great book!!! Even though you know how it ends, getting there is such an AMAZING read!!! I thought it started a bit slow, but that lasted about a chapter, after that I was hooked. I became very involved with this book. The author does a great job of describing Krypton and it's culture. I would like to see another book about Argo City after the destruction of Krypton. Excellent, excellent book!!
