My first comment won't attract any difference of opinion because people know I have a very high regard for Chris' work (and own 4 of my own Stevens pieces) and this is a stunning piece - congrats ck22!

My second comment is where I'll probably get a few bricks thrown in my direction because I prefer Chris' traditional pencil and ink illustrations to his marker pieces. I have the same view regarding Adam Hughes' marker pieces in that I like the look of the older pencil/ink creations.

Whether done in marker or pencil/ink, the images are beautifully done - it's just that I have a personal preference for the look/feel/rendering of pencil/ink :) Best,

No argument, I was just letting you know that Chris' list had closed for now :) And, yes, once you get on Chris' commission list, the likelihood of scoring a piece from him is pretty damn good based on his track record in turning out beautiful work in a very timely manner.

I consider Chris to be a good mate and an amazing developing talent - if he's this good now, where will he end up is my question! As for your comparison of Chris and Adam - everyone has their own opinion :) Best,

I was fortunate enough to make Chris' list this time around and I really wrestled with which way to go. In the end, I went with the markers and I know I won't be disappointed... the pics that have been posted so far are spectacular.

Still, I hope to add another sketch down the road in the pencils/inks. CK22's sketch (a big congrats, by the way!) is just another stunning example of Chris' talent.

Dunno about the AH comparison; I like Chris' stuff way better. I'm not such a big Hughes fan and Chris can make everything (male and female that is) look good (and in my opinion, AH can not).
