Hi people. I'm still having fun with my wacom. I got Painter 9 a few days ago and I'm amazed at this program so far! I found a pen and ink tool and its incredible! It reacts just like a real pen and ink pen I draw comics with! You can select all kinds of differnt nibs and pen types and sizes. This is just one of the many tools in this program. I still prefer to draw on paper and scan though because I have greater control over curves and circular objects.

Anyway, here is a drawing I did for fun with the pen and ink tool to simulate what it would look like if your doing a comic style character. I call this beast... THE BEZERKER! Muuuahhhhhhaaaaa!!!! :)

NOTE: IF THE DRAWING LOOKS SMALL AND NOT DETAILED, RIGHT CLICK ON IMAGE TO ENLARGE.

Thanks everyone! Glad you like it.

Aussiegnr - I used to draw comics professionally. I worked for Image, Todd McFarlane, Erik Larsen, Jim Valentino, Dc(briefly)Malibu, Lightning, Topps and some other independants. I hope to draw comics again someday. I'm working on some new samples. It's tough to get back into because there simply is not as much oppurtunity but there are many more great artists than jobs availiable. I'll keep trying though.

That Spiderman is a photoshop colored version of my Spiderman I am doing for Bowen Designs. I am hoping to become a professional sculptor and thats my first pro job.

Thanks again and I'll post more of my art if people want to see it. I'm in the process of setting up a website with all of my art also.

...

You can stop hoping, you are a professional sculptor. Maybe not by definition, if you haven't been paid yet, but anyone who has seen your work can tell you, you're there. :thumbs2:
