It's interesting that this gradual development is exactly as portrayed in the movies/Sci fi books(Asimov's chronicles of the robot I Daneel, A.I, Terminator, Animatrix)...Let's hope things don't end like they do in the movies :thumbs2:

when you think about it this technology will probably be what leads to drastically lengthened lives rather than some fountain of youth drug that slows aging. Figure out a way to eradicate decay of the mind and they can just stick you in a cyborg. Its freaky stuff but will probably be totally realized provided some natural disaster or man made virus doesnt wipe out the planet first. I think robotics in that application is far more exciting than the prospect of having some slave.

Too bad we wont live to see it.
