I thought i'd start up a good old fashioned Aussie Footy tipping here in our Aussie Section!

For those that dont know how it works it's pretty simple, pick who you think will win in all 8 games from the weekend prior to the 1st game of the round starting! For us here in Oz it's 7:40pm here Thursday night!

The 8 games are!

Collingwood v Adelaide
Brisbane Lions v West Coast Eagles
St Kilda v Sydney
Melbourne v North Melbourne
Port Adelaide v Essendon
Fremantle v Western Bulldogs

I'll tally up everyones scores from each week, if anyone misses a round or a game you get all the away teams! and if anyone joins the comp once the season starts they will be put on the avg score for all the players!

Hope everyone plays and we have a bit of fun with this!

I have a bit of an idea for a prize if the other Aussie's are happy to throw in a few bucks! :)

It is, over here we knoww what "Clubs" are playing eachother but they do not select the "teams" that will be playing until Thursday afternoons. That way anyplayers with an injury or pushing for selection have a chance to impress at training and what not :)

I'll tally up everyones scores from each week, if anyone misses a round or a game you get all the away teams! and if anyone joins the comp once the season starts they will be put on the avg score for all the players!


i think you either take the loss of the game on Friday - thats fair or you lose the whole round and get all away teams for the round which would be more detrimental - i know you ain't cheating but rules are rules and you missed out last week and we gave it to you - i truly believe Rocket does not pick depending on your picks:thumbs2:

I agree Doc, it's gotta be one or the other. Can't really take the best of both options. And I watch 8 games of footy a week. EVERY week. I don't need to wait on anyone elses tips, when I can name every player in the competition :thumbs2:
