I was at one of my collector shops, and I asked him to let me see the IM that he had on display. Which is the similar to this one, and upon him getting out of the cabinet. He broke the finger right off. I guess that me and IM was not meant to be.

does anyone know when this is coming out and where I can order it? I've seen it posted before and, although I prefer the pose of the SS Iron Man better, I like the armor from the movie MUCH better than the comic. I can't get past those huge cheekbones in the comic armor...

I agree. The left hand being in a fist and pointing forward makes it look off.

Knowing Attakus, it likely won't be much cheaper than the SS I/M.
Agreed - the upper hand pose is very odd. Kind of like a limp-wristed muscle flex pose or something.
Unfortunately for Attakus I think that this has been overshadowed and bested before it is even released.

Seriously do feel bad for the sculptor, who put long hours and much talent and work into this sculpt.

Hm the paint on the statue looks like the one from the Kotobukiya Iron Man statue. So I think a combied display would be nice...

But I went to the Attakus site and it costs 189 Euros and is only 8 inch tall.... :(

I don't feel bad for the sculptor. Whoever it was could have done a much better job. the statue from the promo pics looks terrible in pose, execution, detail, and proportion.

I received mine yesterday and it looks better in real life. I missed out on the SS version but I like this one as it is the movie version which I prefer to the comic version

Isn't the size of this statue supposed to be (relatively) small?

Pics as promised. I did a comparison shot with the Kotobukiya Satue. It is fairly small but it is weighty.

Nothing like making someone feel good about their purchase:D I only bought it because I like IM movie version, but you are right it is a bit small and overpriced but it fits in nicely with what I already have.
