Got one of these at the shop recently. this thing is massive. i don't know if it's a good thing or bad. i definately won't be taking this one home. the fact that it's limited to 700 might appeal to some, but if they lack space, it's a tough sell.

anyone else own this? what do u think?

I have this bust and i love it. Can't go wrong with Colossus. I bought mine direct from Dynamic Forces. Goes well with their Hulk Bust which is also awesome.

Yup, I ordered this one when I saw it in previews. My shop got 3 total and sold the other two within days. It's a really nice piece, and just happens to look a lot like my Alex Horley Colossus sketch (pure coincidence)

I've always liked J. Bells version.

I don't mind it much, but I think the paint job is horrible. There's blue streaking from his metal seams, and his hair paint doesn't seem to match the rest. I mean if it was repainted by one of the guys here, then that would rock.

i actually thought repainting it earlier. don't know if i want to go thru the trouble. i might just let it go. it jsut doesn't look quite right.

Colossus is one of my favorite characters, but I don't much care for this rendition of him. The paint is way too glossy for me, and I don't like the chrome, either.

The pose is sort of cool, though. I agree that if someone repainted it, it might rock. But for those who love it, more power to y'all. :)

Memorial bust...HA!

The paint wasn't even dry on these & he was back!

I don't care much for the pose...but it's a cool bust nonetheless.

His arms are just too big. I love Colossus a great deal and would buy this if he didnt have a pinhead - it just looks dumb. Also hate the tacky nameplate, although I assume they were going for the "Gravestone" look.

It's OK. When it's done on purpose, it's called an "homage".

I love this piece for its rawness (a contrast to Bowen's clean jobs - of course Bowen stuffs always top of my list). Got it 1st round it came out. Was hoping DF release the Thunderbird companion piece too but heard it was cancelled.

I agree CK. I have this bust and the paint is poor. A chrome finish and matt finish to his outfit would be great. Bit like DST exclusive by Rocco.

Im waiting for one of the UK painters to have some free time so that he can give my Colossus Memorial Bust a decent paint job. In the meantime, I was wondering if someone could help?

Is it possible to find out the exact paint colours used for statues and busts? I contacted the goregroup about this piece and they said not likely, but was wondering if it was possible to easily find a colour that matched the red armour on Colossus' forearm.

As mentioned before, I got the guy for only £35 and he is in mint condition, barring a small splash of white paint on his forearm. Its not as issue because Ill hopefully get him repainted soon, but I just wanted to touch that area up so that I could display him in the meantime.

Any ideas?
