Hey guys, Chris sent me an advance scan of my commission today!!! Needless to say it's everything I had dared hope it would be :D

The only direction I gave Chris was for Cyclops to be in "hero pose" and Emma to be seductive and flirty. A ying\yang so to speak. Chris delivered to perfection, and the dark solid lines of Scott, perfectly contrast the white clarity of Emma IMO, which further enhances what I was hoping for!!! Thankyou so much Chris!!!!

The concept worked nicely and it was a chance to show a nicer side of Emma...though, it's no doubt a false mask and she's really thinking evil. I've never trusted her.

I did comment elsewhere on the boards about this piece but hadn't seen this thread until now. I'll repeat that I love the way Chris has juxtaposed the light and dark (yin/yang as you mentioned) of the two characters! Great composition and a lovely illustration - congrats mate! Best,

Not that often, but it does happen a couple times on every list. How I feel about the finished piece is usually random though. Sometimes, the one's I'm most excited about end up being my least favorite finished pieces. Go figure.
