Okay, seriously, Chris/Snappa, kinda kidding with this question. I love your art and the stuff displayed here in this thread is damn downright impressive.

But, just wondering, have you ever worked for Marvel, DC, or any other comic book company? Have you done sequential art professionally?

Chris will likely respond but I thought I'd add my 2 cents as his unofficial "art pimp" ;)

From memory, Chris has worked on comics for Udon, helped out with a Deadpool issue for Marvel and has worked as an illustrator for various RPG and other gaming magazines (eg. Dungeon). He also illustrated a GI Joe mini-series Master and Apprentice II and more recently contributed a short story to the Popgun Vll. 2 collection from Image.

We all hope to one day see him on a major book! Best,

Royd

I actually have the issue where chris filled in for the deadpool artist, sweet art it was. And from what I understand, lots of videogame design-drawing and stuff.

Definetely needs to be working for one of the big companies.

I really need to get a commission from Chris. His work is outstanding. Just don't know what I want. A Bullseye v Daredevil or Wonder Woman v Cheetah.

My vote is for option #1 Bulls ;)

Hehe, well, Royd pretty much summed it up well and continues to be as good a pimp as I could ask for;) In a lot of ways, I'm unknown for my own reasons. The few sequential jobs I've done weren't all that fun. They were really a ton of work! I didn't enjoy them too much, so I've stayed away from them. Not a good business move, but I'm an artist because I want to enjoy it, not for the money. The day I stop enjoying it, I'll go flip burgers or something and get out of the business all together.

I still hope to get more cover and pin up work in comics and I'm always working toward that. In the meantime, I'll keep having fun with commissions as long as there's interest for them and making ends meet:)

I hope to set something up with you too, Bulls. The foul up that we had last time with your deposit is still the only one I've ever had. I blame you;) I honestly don't know what happened there, but we'll get one set up for you eventually.

We sure will Chris. Your artwork is too good to pass up. Maybe a double commission is in order.

Mans a Hack! Stay Away.

Then I can get more art for myself!
