What is your favorite Avenger character?
I'm just curious.
Of all time, I think I'd have to say Thor.
Although I like the ladies, I'll have to say Spider-Woman currently.

Kind of unfair, since I only read the new avengers because of Luke Cage. But to me Cap is the Avengers. Old, New, whatever. Luke is still my favorite character, but Cap is my favorite Avenger. Make Sense? If it does, can someone explain it to me? :confused2

Yo, I'm with you. Falcon is still my favorite. But as far as Avengers go, he's not an icon, like Cage. Cap and Thor are both Avenger's Icons.

Though the post asks for favorite Avengers characters, not icons. I think Luke Cage and the Falcon are fair game, if they're your favorite Avengers. I completely get that someone could be a favorite character and still NOT be a favorite Avenger, though. But don't let the icon status deter you if that's the only reason.

Word bro, but to me its more like Falc is essentially a loner. Harlem is his beat, and his primary concern. Sure, he's there for Cap, and always will be, but his heart is with his city, I guess that's why I don't really count him as an Avenger. I hear you though.

How come no one has brought up the Swordsman? or Mantis? Rage? D Man? Tygra was cool.

I guess my favorite "second tier" Avenger would be the Vision.

Well, I started reading them in the '70s, so my first thought when someone says Avengers is the Vision.

However, of all time, I'd say my favorite is Hank Pym. Can he count as himself, with all the identities attached?

I'm a huge Captain America fan, but my favorite "Classic" Avenger is the Vision.

As far as the New Avengers go, I'll wait and see.

I did like the whole "I have full Champion License." thing that Cap pulled out on the S.H.I.E.L.D. agent sitting in for Fury.

I don't know about anyone else but I'm finding it difficult to see past Captain America as he to me represents the Avengers. My second choice would be the Vision or Thor.
