Although I have over a thousand images that's it for now, I hope you don't mind, someday I may put up some statues so bare with me :D

Wow, very impressive.

Where would a beginner start? I have a Canon Rebel XS SLR but have no idea how to use it... couple of lenses too.

Were most of those shots taken with a tripod?

Thank you, I have been very busy lately and didn't have time to respond or post some new stuff so my apologies. I have been taking pics on a regular basis though and I'll start a new thread about my learning experiences in photography in the last couple years.

But to answer your questions, there are a couple of lenses here but the main one was the cheap Sigma 20mm prime, and no tripod was used in any pics thus far presented here. And now off to my new thread :)

A sigma 20mm prime?? OMG..those pics are wonderful..=) like you said it takes imagination to take great pics. It was never about the gear in the first place. I have a DSLR but i mostly carry my g10. I just enjoy snapping pics.=)

There is a bag just big enough to fit a dSLR with a single lens attached, perfect for carry-around so the size issue doesn't matter to me.

And once I went dSLR I can't go back :)

And thanks fuzzy.

Great quality shooting, with some lovely compositions.

Do you use a prime mainly as your carry? I think a prime 35mm makes you try a little harder and put more thought into your shots than a zoom.
