They are awesome statues and you can get them pretty cheap on ebay. I am in the process of looking for the Male Templar at a good price, will probably be my first male statue.

The Sideshow AH Maquettes are really amazing. A part of me wants to pick those up as well as the upcoming Dagger and She-Hulk, but I don't think that's possible without having to spend a grip.

Wow this week has been busy for statues. Like I previously stated, I received my 1:1 Spider-woman bust earlier this week, then yesterday I received the Sideshow Black Queen in the mail and now today after running around Wizard World comic con in Chicago I picked up the original Sinful Suzi statue.

It was a hard decision to get the Sinful Suzi. I ran into a lot of great female statues, but in the end she stood out the most. I saw the Kotobukiya Bishouju figures and holy moly they are tiny. I can't believe they charge $50+ for them. I also saw the new cover Girls Wonder Woman statue, which is very nice, well painted and an awesome sculpt, but in my collection I know she would get lost. And last was the Leia slave premium format which was just too expensive.

I also got to see a production sample of the new Cali statue by the CS Moore Studio, which was amazing in person. I wasn't too sure about the statue from pictures posted online, but in person she was awesome.

Decided to start collecting Moore statues. Didnt really want to go outside of Sideshow, but his statues are amazing. Great quality. I was really blown away by Sinful Suzi. Now I need to find a Kiani statue for a great price. She just went for about $180 on ebay. Wouldn't mind snagging one. Also, looking at getting one of the CMS Lady Deaths. Probably the original.

Received Lady Death today. Wow, amazing, she is quite a jewel. The blue shading on her is awesome. She looks a tad smaller than Sinful Suzi.

If you decide to get a Kiani, just be advised that her support resin structure is not very good, although it varies from people to people. Mine has been leaning like crazy I had to hold it still with a 12" figure stand.
Check out Aspen's section. It is a very very nice statue though. China factory QC ruins everything nowaday :(

I will try to take a pic. LD is quite a bit smaller and she is also on a shorter base, which kind of sucks. It would be nice if they all had the same base height. But, man, she is beautiful. Personally I would have to see the Ruby variant in person, not sure if I like all the color going on. LD's skintone (the pale white and blue shadows) really look good with the simple black outfit.

Yeah, I've seen quite a few threads about her base issue. That is why I am not willing to pay over $200 for her. She is going for about $175 on ebay right now. Not really sure if I want to get her yet. I would rather focus on upcoming releases.

IMHO Magdelana AP is the most beautiful of Moores stuff. As for Kiani, I just display mine a little differently and that seems to take care of the lean problem.

Ya, I was seriously considering and even bid on Kiani b/c it is gorgeous and so detailed, however when I read the problems people were having, now I've decided to skip it completely. As for Lady Death, I personally love the white skin w/ blue shadowing and the electric royal blue of the Ruby's costume and the degree of detail with the gold filigree, and of course the red cap makes it pop even more =) But, to each his own :)

I don't have any desire to collect the Moore statues. I think he does an amazing job but they just aren't for me. I do like Lady Death though.

Suzi is a little risky. I've had quite a few guy friends over and their eyes popped out of their sockets pretty quick when they saw her. I need to start cutting down tho, I am in the process of looking for a house. So I need to save more for that. I plan on continuing with Sideshow's females and maybe picking up a few cover girls and Moore's pieces here and there. Cover girls: Catwoman is the only upcoming statue that I need. Canary and Power Woman are two characters I know nothing about. Moore: I might hold out on Moore until he releases Angelus and Dawn, which will be must haves for me.

My collection thread was getting hella dusty.
Just an FYI, I just received my She-Hulk and Mystique comiquettes and they are AWESOME!

She-Hulk
I admit that I didn't have the highest expectations for this one, but she totally blew me away. She is so large and heavy, wow. I could get two of her and totally pump iron, hahaha.

Mystique
I think they accidentally reused She-Hulks massive scale on this comiquette. Mystique and SH are the same size. Yes, SH is thicker, but as far as scale and height, they are the same.

I also got my Brunswick bowling bag for my wii and I love it.

Incoming: I am still waiting on my DC Cover Girls Catwoman statue, she should be arriving any day, hopefully. And in about 25 days I will be getting my exclusive red Elektra, can't wait.

In the works:
I plan on doing some video reviews!
I know, i am a little scared.
I am from Wisconsin and have the save voice as my mother, which let me tell you...it isn't pretty. But I wanted to give the video reviews a try. I might need bearmdel and pitu to give me some pointers. I thought some "female" perspectives was needed. hahaha

I might also do reviews of other products, like my wii bag which is totally amazing and well worth the cazash.

No, my Rogue I am keeping as is. I will be customizing my Black Cat into a Tigra though. I received my Black Cat broken and dont really care for her.

I do highly recommend the She-Hulk though, she is well worth her price. My boyfriend actually likes the SH better than Mystique.

I hope her arm isn't broke anywhere. I tried to look her over pretty good. I am very picky, haha.
I am pretty happy with her. She is very large. I really don't know what I think about her size. I want her to fit in with the rest of my comiquettes, but I also like that she is larger. I think the only other things that bother me are the weak magnets and the ultra tiny skull on her forehead. This is not a statue that you can wiggle or turn around a lot. The skull I am not too worried about, I could always replace it.

Good choice! Rogue needs to be wearing green. I'll get Mystique first and SH maybe later on. I like her but, Mystique is better IMO.

Decided to cancel the following pre-orders:

I know I am going to regret cancelling Meg, but she doesn't really fit into my collection. :bawling:

and I might possibly cancel the Spider-Woman LSB exclusive. Mainly due to the nameplate being ugly and I can get the regular version cheaper from a store.

Haven't decided if I really like LSBs yet.
